A Song For Joshua....
My daughter was a kindergarten classmate of Joshua Moore's. When Joshua went into the hospital this past October I was asked to sub for his teacher. One of the only songs I could think of to sing and hum while in the classroom during those tender days was "We Are Children" which was written by my mother, Alice Damon, when I was a little girl.
I just love thinking that Joshua and Grandma Alice are together in the heavenly realms, laughing and giggling at the thought that they are fulfilling their earthly dreams without even being here! Bravo Joshua & Alice. When you listen to it, in honor of all those who have passed before us, please do your very best to follow the words, embrace their true meaning and let your heart wings open wide.
With many blessings and so much love we make this offering to you and yours.
lyrics
Put a circle of white light around you.
Put a crown of bright stars on your head.
May the fountain of life flow all through you.
Put two rainbow wings at your back.
We are children of the Mother.
We are children of the Father
